CNC Machining Facilities at AH Garner
As producers of hydraulic cylinders, the vast majority of the parts manufactured by AH Garner are created on CNC lathes. This technology allows for optimum results when creating cylindrical parts by offering the very highest precision and productivity. The majority of our cylinders and associated parts are manufactured from steel for strength and so as to ensure their suitability for welding.
Our plant consists of 11 CNC lathes with the cumulative capability to manufacture parts with diameters between 25-350mm, although the bulk of our work typically falls between 50-150mm. Among our machines are two long bed lathes which have a CNC turning length of up to 1.8m with through spindle loading for longer parts.
We utilise high-quality CNC lathes from the following providers:

- Yang
- Hwacheon
We have an ongoing commitment to investing in the latest machinery to keep up with evolving industry demands, and in light of this we have recently purchased a Hwacheon Hi-Tech 230 and a Dah Lih MCV-1020BA Vertical Machining Centre. Both machines have allowed us to dramatically improve cycle times and produce fantastic results.
